Christmas Red for Valentines Day (and more!)

Who am I?!? Two color posts right in a row!

I am a bit more adventurous when it comes to color and clothing than I am in my home decor. And one of the colors I’ve always been drawn to wearing is that bright, cheery Christmas Red! Some might call it Poppy, but I most associate this with Christmas, so I call it Christmas Red. And I know I’m not the only one who loves it, because around Christmas time, everyone starts bringing out their reds. I don’t know if it’s the color or the brightness that I’m drawn too, but I love it!

But it’s January (the loooongest month ever), and not Christmas anymore. And I’m still wearing all my Christmas reds… because here’s a thought. Christmas Red also looks like Valentine’s Red, Memorial Day Red, 4th of July Red, Labor Day Red, and Summer Red. I mean really, you can wear any color and any point. There’s no rule about color wearing. But I do like to taking into the seasons and months into what I’m wearing; hence my solid defense of wearing Christmas Red all year long.

When it comes to celebrating Valentines Day (and actually all the other holidays I mentioned up there) this is my go-to color! You can basically bet your biscuit that come Valentines, I’m going to be wear this sweatshirt (and it’s on sale!. The red keeps it festive, and the casual is how I like to celebrate!
