Back on Father’s Day, it’s become our tradition to get diner pancakes and go on a hike. Our hike last year is still a favorite! And while I’m not the papa, I was more than excited to hike around Point Lobos! We had heard great things about the views, and they didn’t disappoint! Instead of driving in, we just parked on the road outside of the reserve and walked in (less than a quarter mile) and turned right.
There were a few moments of panic (on my part) when we let Ajax out of the carrier and he got a little to close to the edge as there is minimal railings or barriers. But other than that, it was a perfect hike with views that you just can’t make up. Be prepared for picture overload…
