We’re moving to Monterey, California.
Honestly, I love Colorado and will definitely shed a tear or two about leaving. When I saw the email from my husband the other day that officially confirmed our move, it just so happened that it was classic, Colorado-sunny day with the Rocky Mountains just standing there in my view – all rugged and stunning, and the thought of moving made this preggo all misty-eyed.
I should of known I’d feel like this. After all, we’ve been here for over three years, which is the longest I’ve anywhere since being married. And, even though my husband is pretty much a local – graduating from high school and college here – we both just loved being in Colorado. I mean, when it comes to raising a family, this place is legit. LEGIT. Also, there’s a craft beer brewery, literally, on every corner. Because raising kids and beer go hand-in-hand. Not to mention Colorado is stunningly beautiful, offers some pretty amazing outdoors, overall just seems to fit into my lifestyle.
Don’t get me wrong, I am E X C I T E D to move! Monterey was our number one pick and I think we’re going to have some great times in the state of my birth. Not that I’ve lived in California since I was under a year, but I have the Cali birth certificate to prove my OG status. Hah.
I’m sure I’ll write more about moving it’s always an adventure! But first, I would like to get this kid birthed…that’s an adventure in itself!
