Hello 2018
If you’ve been stopping by over the holiday season, you might have noticed a few changes around here. First (and probably the biggest) I gave this space a name! The Tombo Company is a little play off of my last name (Tomberlin) and gives you a little boho, adventure vibe. Just tell me you love it so I don’t have to spend anymore time chatting with the amazing folks at Bluehost! (Who, by the way, I have nothing but wonderful things to say about them! They have helped me with all of my transitions and changes, and were also amazing when I transferred my site from Squarespace to WordPress earlier this year.)
I’m still covering all my bases between making sure old posts have their photos, that all my pages do and say what I want them to say, and that this whole space has the look and feel that I want, but I am SO happy to have The Tombo Co. here as we start 2018.
There was a lot that happened in this space during 2017. Not only did I move this backend from Squarespace to WordPress (anyone interested in the specifics on how to do that and why?!) but I started professionally blogging which is a fun way of saying that this blog made some money! I mean, it didn’t pay for a trip to to Hawaii, but it for sure hit goals that I had for this space, which makes me so happy and excited for what’s to come in 2018!
But before I start with new content, I wanted to share with you the top five posts from 2017! Truly, thank you for reading, commenting, clicking. I love doing this; I love this space and dream big on what it can grow into. Thank you for being a part of it!
Top Five Posts from 2017
#5 | How I Put the Healthy Into My Meals
YES! Nothing like a tip on how to get a healthy meal with basically doing nothing. And that Cuban-inspired pork bowl is still my favorite!
#4 | Visiting Glass Beach
I half want to scold all of you for having this travel post be the top one (I would have probably picked Point Reyes or Lake Tahoe myself), but also I just smile because it was pretty awesome. Really that whole trip up the California northern coast was legit!
#3 | When to Wear That Cold Shoulder Sweater
Clearly everyone was wondering the same thing, so I am glad that I helped solve that problem. Maybe next, how to wear that off-the-shoulder sweater?!
#2 | Where To Shop + Shop Stevie with Kristiana
You guys, I LOVE that this post is here! Kristiana is a doll, has great taste, fabulous clothes, and I LOVE the support for a small business!
#1 | Should Your Pet’s Food Be Grain Free?
I’m now wondering why Roxann isn’t in more of my posts?!?! Maybe I should style outfits for her instead of myself…. =)
